NOVEMBER 2009 | As scary as it is, we must all face the fact that Christmas is fast approaching. So what are you waiting for.... ORDER YOUR GODDAMN CHRISTMAS CARDS!
Shipping is FREE (no matter where you live) and there are 30 different cards to choose from, so get on it! When it comes to shipping... In order to ensure you have plenty of time to receive and resend your orders during the Christmas rush we ask that you place your orders before December 14th, 2009. Any orders placed afterwards will still be sent asap, but risk the chance of getting stuck in the Christmas rush. So buyers beware. Also, place an order of $40 or more (before taxes) and we'll include a couple of free magnets!

OCTOBER 2009 | Well what do you know, it's October already! For you folks here in BC, Hug and Kiss Designs will be at Canada Place for The One of a Kind Show on Oct. 8th-11th. As always, we'll also be at Portobello West on October 25th. In other news, I know it's still a little early to get into the Christmas spirit, but you should really check out our new Christmas cards. They're fucking awesome!
SEPTEMBER 2009 | This month brings Hug and Kiss Designs to Calgary for Portobello West. The event is from September 18th-20th at the Big Four Building on the Stampede Grouds. Visit the Events page for more details.
More exciting news for Hug and Kiss fans.... we now have t-shirts! You'll have to be patient if you'd like to view them online as they won't be making their online debut until the end of the month. However, if you're in either the Vancouver or Calgary area be sure to check us out at the upcoming events so you can see the shirts in person! You'll also get to check out our new magnets! There are now 20 new styles to add to your fridge!!!... check those out here.
You'll also find us at the One Of A Kind Show in Vancouver next month. It's a HUGE show with a lot of other vendors... obviously we'll be the best, but there are still a bunch of other great companies to check out!
Also, be sure to add Hug and Kiss Designs to your Facebook. This way you stay in the loop and you help spread the word about how awesome we are.
JULY 2009 | For all you wonderful people in Kelowna, BC there is reason to celebrate.... Briar Patch Gifts has started to carry Hug and Kiss products! Hooray!!! For those of you not in Kelowna, check out the list of Stores to see our location closest to you.... or buy online and get cards shipped directly to your home or office!!!
As for the fine people of Vancouver, there are a few upcoming events you should know about. As always, Hug and Kiss Designs will be at Portobello West on July 26th, which is always a GREAT show. We'll also be at the Pride Society's Sunset Beach Festival on Sunday, August 2nd. Join the 500,000 people that will be celebrating pride at the annual pride parade and afterward make your way down to Sunset Beach for vendors and food galore!
No matter what event you choose to attend our employees are always happy to serve you.
JUNE 2009 | Thanks to all the wonderful people that came out to support Vancouver's Car-Free Day on the 14th! It was an amazing success and I'm already excited for the party next year! Hopefully you dropped by and bought your dad a Father's Day card... if not I'm sure you're dad will be very sad.
Hug and Kiss Designs was recently written about for an online magazine called Killahbeez. Check out the article and be sure to tell them what you think - you know, about how awesome I am.

MAY 2009 | Although Hug and Kiss Designs officially entered its terrible twos back in January, May is also a very special month for us. This May marks the 2-year anniversary of Hug and Kiss Designs going public!!! First www.hugandkissdesigns.com went online and the wonderful store PABOOM became the first store to place an order! We love Paboom!!! Help celebrate our anniversary by going to your local Hug-and-Kiss-card-carrying-store and buying a card or two!!! Or you can always buy your cards online... shipping is FREE after all.
In other exciting news, Ottawa is now one of our new homes with Paper Papier on Clarence St. and Glebe Emporium on Bank St. recently placing orders! Hooray for Ottawa!
Also keep in mind that Hug and Kiss Designs will be at Portobello West in Vancouver each month. Check out The Events for more details. For those of you in Edmonton, our apologies, we will not be at The Stop and Shop Show this month. Instead you'll have to go to Chicken Scratch or Notables for your Hug and Kiss needs.
APRIL 2009 | We're only a few months into 2009, but it's already turning out to be a great year for Hug and Kiss Designs! First off, there is some exciting news for those of you in Ottawa.... soon you'll be home to Hug and Kiss Designs! Stay tuned for the list of stores.
For those of you in Victoria, especially you UVIC students + staff, you can now find Hug and Kiss cards at SUBtext. Hooray!!!
Also, we've been delving into the t-shirt making business. We're still a few designs away from completing our collection, but for those of you in Vancouver, check us out Portobello West to see what we have so far!
Finally, remember Mother's Day is May 10th. Place your orders soon or your mom will think you don't love her. Don't forget SHIPPING IS FREE so there's no excuse not to buy your mom a card. It's the least you could do.
MARCH 2009 | A few changes have been made to the Hug and Kiss Designs website. First and foremost, an online wholesale store has been added so retailers can now place their orders online and pay with a credit card! Secondly, over 70 new cards have been added in all sorts of categories, including Mother's Day, Father's Day, New Baby, Belated Birthday and more.

FEBRUARY 2009 | Happy Valentine's Day! For those of you in Regina, I have some exciting news... a new store is opening on Smith Street in the coming weeks and they are carrying Hug and Kiss Designs! Check out The Stores for more information.
JANUARY 2009 | Happy New Year everyone! For those of you ready to do your Valentine's Day shopping - there are several new Valentine's Day cards up on the site. Don't wait until the last minute to order or you might run out of time! Unless you're one of the fabulous employees at Electronic Arts [Burnaby or Vancouver] in which case you should wait last minute. We'll be at both locations on February 13th... check here for the details.
