THE STORY
Hug and Kiss Designs Inc. began when Nikki Bordignon was reading greeting cards in a local gift shop. It occurred to her that all the greeting cards were the same – predictable. Cute on the outside meant cute on the inside and funny on the outside meant funny on the inside. Nikki thought it’d be funny to create a surprising greeting card, one that paired sweet cartoon imagery with an unexpected sarcastic remark. Having an education in both journalism and graphic design, she figured she could try making some cards herself. It started off as a hobby, but a few months later, in January 2007, Hug and Kiss Designs Inc. was officially born. Now cards can be found in over 100 stores nationwide.

...We're responsible for several celebrity break-ups... including Demi and Ashton and Heidi Klum and Seal. We'd take credit for that Kardashian chick and the ape she married, but who the fuck cares about them.
